Jesus “Jesse” Delion Villarreal, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, in Newport News, Virginia. Born on December 26, 1957, in Toledo, Ohio, Jesse lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to his family and passions. He was 67 years old.

Jesse was a skilled HVAC Technician, known for his hard work and commitment to his craft. Beyond his professional life, he was a man of many interests. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as fishing, gardening—especially tending to his vegetable garden—and taking care of his home. His frequent visits to Home Depot were a testament to his love for home improvement projects.

A devoted family man, Jesse cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. His sense of humor and warm spirit brought joy to all who knew him. He was a guiding light to his children and a loving husband to Sheila Villarreal, the love of his life for over 20 years. Jesse was a man of strength, dignity and deep faith.

Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, Esteban and Anita Delion Villarreal, and his siblings, John, Manuel, Abel Villarreal and Rosita Villarreal Gonzales. He leaves behind a loving family, including the love of his life Sheila Villarreal; his children Jamie, Jesus Santiago “Chewy,” Robert, and Esteban Villarreal, and Austin Hindman; his brothers Steve and David Villarreal; his sister Anita Villarreal; his niece Julia Villarreal Gonzales; his sister in law Carrie Burdine; and a large host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and granddaughters.

Jesse will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
