Patricia Marie Cusic Ellyson, 73, of New Kent, VA passed peacefully into the arms of our heavenly father surrounded by family. Preceded in death by her father, Thomas C. Cusic and by her mother, Mildred R. Cusic, sister, Dolores M. Atkinson, brothers, Thomas C. Cusic III and Joseph M. Cusic.
Left to cherish her memory, husband, Gerald Ellyson, son, Robert Ellyson (Stacy), daughter, Audra Gass (Johnny), sisters, Elizabeth Bucker (Mike) and Alice Ann Safarti (Jack), grandchildren, Jack, Elise, Esme, Jordan, Jeremy, Kelly and Kyle, and great grandson, Bradyn.
Patricia graduated from Highland Springs High School, class of 1971 and worked for many years at Miracle Mart, The Jefferson Hotel, Hyatt Hotel and Cigna, respectfully. Pat had a love for God, family and a strong Catholic faith. She provided unconditional care for her mother for many years. Her biggest hobby was to shop, and she loved making trips to TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Target, Home Goods and of course, Kohls. Pat was a dedicated wife, mother and sister and her spirit will be greatly missed.
A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday June 17 at 11:00AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2631 Pocahontas Trail Quinton, VA 23141. Family will receive friends beginning at 10:00AM.
