Lynne Moomijan, a longtime resident of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 81.
Born in Ohio in 1944 to Clarence and Phylis Westover, Lynne earned her bachelor’s degree and worked for many years as a clerk at the city library, where she quietly touched the lives of countless patrons with her calm presence and commitment to knowledge.
She was a woman of quiet faith, raised in a Protestant tradition, and carried herself with grace and kindness throughout her life. Lynne found joy in simple pleasures—reading, tending to her plants, and spending time with her family.
Lynne is preceded in death by her parents and her dear husband, Vaskin Moomijan, with whom she shared many devoted years. She is survived by her son, Mark Moomijan, who remained by her side and was her greatest pride and joy.
