Connie Lynn Taylor, 65, of Mattaponi, VA went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, April 27, 2025.
Connie was a kind woman who loved spending time with her family. She worked more than 25 years with West Point Public Schools, the majority of which was at the Elementary School. She loved her coworkers and the countless students who she encountered through the years.
Connie was a big college basketball fan, and was always excited for March Madness, especially watching the Duke Blue Devils. Taking pictures was another of Connie’s joys, but she much preferred being behind the camera and not in front of it! So many events are preserved in memory because of her picture taking.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Marion Harris; two brothers-in-law, Jeff and Stanley Taylor. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Berk Taylor; and their two sons, Ben and Andrew Taylor; a brother, Danny Harris (Marian); in-laws, Lloyd and Virginia Taylor; brother-in-law, Barry Taylor; sister-in-law, Carolyn Taylor; nieces, nephews, numerous cousins and friends.
