Catherine Reid Smith “Little Kitty”, 86, died March 2, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Smith and her parents, Gurney H. Reid and Catherine N. Reid “Big Kitty.”
She is survived by children E. Reid Wade (Joni) of Providence Forge, Catherine Marcum (Garry) of Midlothian, and Robert Wade (Victoria) of Farmville. Also survived by grandchildren Hunter Wade, Christopher Wade, Benjamin Wade (Maya) and their son, Benjamin.
A proud graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School (1957) and Longwood College (1961), she was an educator. She enjoyed watching sports, music, bingo and making memories at Manchester Moose.
