DeAnda Devon Smith, 34, of Gloucester County, entered eternal rest, on Saturday March 1, 2025. DeAnda is preceded in death by his father Ellis Ray Robinson Sr, Mother Deborah Marsh, and two brothers Alvin Wells and James Edwin Marsh Jr.
DeAnda graduated from Gloucester High School in 2008. He attended RCC for a short time. DeAnda was a sous chef at many different Bone Fish and Grill locations, until he was no longer able to work. He enjoyed cooking, skateboarding, reading books and looking at documentaries. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. DeAnda enjoyed making people laugh and was the life of any room he stood. He also enjoyed talking about politics.
Deanda is survived by his stepfather, James Edwin Marsh Sr; two aunts, Marylin Ankh Unu-El, and Rosemary Davis; one uncle, Harvey Robinson; his siblings, Jamal Surles (Texas), Ellis Ray Robinson, Jr., Russell Smith, Chiquita Smith, Melissa Morris (Marland), Jesse Smith, Natasha Christian, Edith Cochran (Kerry), Jeffery Marsh, LaTifah Smith, and Aaron Marsh; two special families, the Lopez and Robbins families, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 1PM Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home, West Point, VA, with a viewing 2 hours prior to service, 11AM-1PM. Flowers and donations can be sent to Vincent Funeral Home.
