Harold Rodney Estes Sr., 92, of New Kent, VA, passed away on September 1, 2024.
Harold was born to Grady and Ivey Estes of Burlington, NC.
He was a retired long-haul truck driver and member of the Teamsters Union.
He loved to go fishing with family and friends and reminisce about his time on the road and the years he spent in his youth as a race car driver.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Bonnie Estes; his son Harold Rodney Estes Jr.; stepdaughters Sherrie Alcock and Stephanie Czerwik; his brothers Bobby Estes and Gene Estes and his sisters Betty Simmons and Vicky Walker.
Harold is survived by his children Donnie (Sharon) Estes, Cindy Estes (Greg Leehy), and Debora Estes, his stepchildren Forrest Smith and Jimmy Gray and his sister Mildred Price. Many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews also survive Harold.
A celebration of Harold’s life will be held on September 14, 2024, at noon at Emmaus Baptist Church in Providence Forge, VA. Burial will be private.
