Kamron D’Andre Thompson entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 26, 2024. His life began on July 22, 2004, to his loving parents, Marcella Holland and Andre Thompson.

Kamron was raised in Newport News, Virginia, and graduated from Woodside High School in 2023. Kamron’s passions included football and playing video games. His most cherished pastime was spending time with his cousins and close friends.

Kamron was baptized during his adolescent years, affirming his faith and commitment to a spiritual journey that brought comfort and guidance throughout his life.

He joins his beloved grandmother JoAnn Thompson; great-grandfather Saint M. Holland; great-grandmother Minnie B. Holland; and younger cousin Kayleigh Jones in Heaven.

Kamron leaves a family who will forever cherish his memory, his devoted mother, Marcella Holland; father, Andre Thompson (Tamica); maternal siblings, Shakorya Moore, Le’Paris Moore; special recognitions, Ayana Muhammad and Darius Debrick; paternal siblings, Tyree Hinds, Andre Thompson Jr., Deja Thompson, and D’Aja Thompson; beloved grandmother Rhodalisa Holland; grandfather Lionel Cornick (Argerine); aunts, Lisette Wright (Jerome), Marchaney Holland-Adkins (Danny), and Kendra Thompson; uncles, Umar Holland (Kia), Lamar Holland (Meka) and Deon Thompson (Kewana); godmother Shauna Haskett; nephews, Ayden Thompson, Ay’Veon Thompson, and Nasir Hinds; nieces, Ayla Thompson, Aylani Thompson, Avery Tune, and Mina Hinds; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and many close friends who was considered to be his family.

His passing will not extinguish Kamron’s light but it will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved him. His impact on others was significant, and his caring nature and unwavering love for his family and friends will always be remembered.

A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Bethel Restoration Center. Interment to follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park. Mr. Thompson may be viewed on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
