Donald Ray Morris, Sr., affectionately known as Mr. Don and Papa Lou, peacefully passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 71. He was born on August 15, 1952, in Seaboard, North Carolina, and later resided in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Mr. Morris dedicated a significant portion of his life to his work as the proud owner of Ray’s Trucking. Through his commitment and hard work, he built a successful career that provided for his beloved family.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Linda, and their two sons, Donald, II (Mariah) and Erik. Mr. Don cherished his role as a husband and father, always ensuring that his family was well taken care of and supported. He is also survived by his siblings, Evelyn Blunt, Monica Morris, Anthony (Sematar) Morris, Wilbert (Ethel) Morris, Annette (Coley) Rogers, Raymond Morris and Faye (Bo); grandchildren, Isaiah, Josiah & Izzy, Moriah, Elijah, Bre, Z, Micah, Mya, Rechiah, Jamia and Gerald; great-grandchildren, Aziel, Ari, Leilani, Miles, Kobi, Amari and Ka’sa.
