Homer Seymour Willie, Jr, of Virginia Beach, passed away December 3, 2023 at the age of 83.
He is preceded in death by his parents Homer Seymour Willie, Sr. and Dorothy Martin, and his brother Gilbert Willie (Diana).
He is survived by his life partner, Diane Fike; the mother of his children, Diana Fizer; his daughters Debbie Haliday (Lance), Suzanne Baker (Dan), Melissa Rowe, and Leslie Stilwell (Jim); his bonus daughters Donna Baker (Randy), Mary Michl (Andre), and Janet Adamson (John); his grandchildren (Matthew, Ryan, Bethany, Megan, Brittany, Allison, Andrew, Zachary, Spencer); his bonus grandchildren (Natalie, Leah, Olivia, Ray, Mimi, Alyssa, and Ayden); and his great-grandchildren (Colton, Maverick, Levi, Sadie, Kaila, Arie, Layla, Ava, Aubrey, Alijah, and Caroline).
Homer was born in Washington DC. attended Randolph Macon Academy, and was an independent insurance agent. Ever the optimist, with an infectious laugh and a charismatic personality, Homer was the life of every party. Homer loved sports, dancing, animals, traveling, and most of all, his family. His sweet smile and kindness will be sorely missed.

A gathering of family and friends will take place at a later date to celebrate Homer’s life.
