Mary Rosalee “Rose” Adkins, 90, of Providence Forge, went to be with the Lord on November 17, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of 48 years Walter E. Adkins; a son D. Ricky Adkins and a grandson Brandon Adkins.
Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, D. Lynn Adkins, D. Morris Adkins and Dwayne Adkins (Susan); daughter-in-law Judy Adkins; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; two sisters Iona Tomlinson (Jerry) and Janice Croucher and many other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 21 at Samaria Baptist Church, Charles City, VA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140.
