Anna Gontkovic Fostek, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend died November 17, 2023, at the age of 89. She joined her late husband of 70 years, Philip, son Frankie, and grandson Sean in heaven.
A lifelong resident of West Point, she moved to Gloucester on the York River after retiring from Chesapeake Corp. with 25 years of service. She also worked for C&P Telephone Co. in West Point until 1966. She spent 15 years with them before going to work for Chesapeake.
Anna and her husband traveled to many places, Hawaii, Alaska, Europe, many cruises including the Panama Canal, Alaska, and the Caribbean. They visited every state in the USA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Steve Gontkovic, husband Philip, son Frankie, grandson Sean, brothers, John, Joseph, Mike, Walter and sister, Mary Dorish.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey and his wife Cathy of Fort Myers, FL, grandson Nicholas, his mother Jackie, and Carol Armstrong, two very close family friends, brother Thomas Gontkovic (Jean) of Mechanicsville, VA, and many nieces and nephews.

Anna was a member of St Therese Catholic Church in Gloucester.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21 at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, VA 23181.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Therese Catholic Church Building Fund, 6262 Main St. Gloucester, VA 23061. A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. November 22 in Sunny Slope Cemetery, West Point.
