Veon Albert, 66, was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 29, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Veon was born in Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her son, Darrel Adams; her father, Loston; mother, Charlotte and brothers, Lance and Richard Albert. She is survived by her son, Joshua Albert; brothers, Raymond (Sylvia), Matthew and Tracy Albert; 8 grandkids, Chakira, Darrel Adams Jr., De’kyra, Derriyele, De’Jaun, Derron, Destiny and Angel; many nieces and nephews and numerous family and friends.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Weymouth Funeral Home.
Veon’s Home Going Celebration will be held at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at 3 p.m. at Peninsula Memorial Park.
