Sue Kyle Reeves, 82, of Shacklefords, Va., formerly of Lunenburg, VA, passed away July 19, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Sue Kyle.
Sue was a woman of many talents. She was a gifted seamstress, gardener, cook, artist and was also skilled in woodworking. Sue’s true passion was investing her time in helping others. She had a caring nature and loved spending time visiting all of her elderly neighbors. Sue spent many years volunteering at a nursing home in Saluda.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Sebert, Kelly, and Dale; and a baby sister, Nellie Gay.
Sue is survived by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Edgar Thomas “Tom” Reeves III; two sisters-in-law, Anne and Faye; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends; and several extended relatives in Clay County, WV.
A graveside service will be held 12 p.m. ,Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in Poroporone Baptist Church Cemetery, 30071 The Trail, Shacklefords, VA 23156.
