NEW KENT — Dawn Aday Lieder, 82, of New Kent, Va. graduated to heaven May 4, 2022 at 5:50 a.m. She loved to laugh, was a talented seamstress, but above all, was a strong and faithful prayer warrior. Dawn’s greatest desire was that everyone would come to have the same saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as she. John 3:16, her favorite scripture, states, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” We find comfort in knowing she is relishing in that promise right now!
Dawn was preceded in death by her husband, Max R. Lieder. She is survived by their three sons, Neil Lieder (Kelli), Eric Lieder (LeeAnn) and Glen Lieder (Theresa); six grandchildren, Kristi, Nelson, Joel, Rebecca, Sarah and Phillip; and seven great-grandchildren, Samuel, Callie, Nathan & Natalie, Jaxon, Loie and Landri.
A graveside service will be held at 3 PM, Friday, May 13th at Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA. The Celebration of life service and reception will follow at 4 PM at the Glendale Ruritan Club, 6188 Charles City Rd., Richmond, VA 23231.
