WILLIAMSBURG — It is with heavy hearts and much love that the family of Walter “Walt Walt,” “Papa Doo” Taylor, announces his passing on Sunday, April 4, 2021, at home. He was 85 years old.
He was preceded in death by his son, Walter “Junnie” Taylor.
Walter will be sadly missed by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy A. Taylor; their sons, Christopher Taylor, Kenneth Taylor and Dexter M. Taylor; daughter, Benita West; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Walter will forever be remembered for his outgoing personality, love of seafood and being by the water.
At his request, all services will be private.
