WILLIAMSBURG — Nanette “Nan” Burcham, 61, a Peninsula resident since 1963, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, with her family by her side.
Mrs. Burcham graduated from Walsingham Academy in 1977 and Kee Business College in 1980. For the past 17 years, she worked as a web and publications specialist for James City County Publications Management Department.
Most importantly, she was a beloved wife and mother. She was also an avid cross-stitcher, enjoyed reading and writing, loved animals and adored spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jeff Burcham; son, Kyle J. Burcham of Williamsburg; mother, Nancy M. Vellines; and four siblings, Don M. Vellines, Beverly Vellines Caldwell, Wesley Elmore Vellines IV and Jeffrey M. Vellines.
