WILLIAMSBURG — Marisa Joan Newsome, 56, passed away Monday, Dec. 21, 2020. She was born in Virginia to the late Lawrence and Veronica Reed.
Marisa’s love was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Kenzell; son, Charles Newsome; daughters, Charlene, Kimberly and Andrea Newsome; siblings, Jimmy, Roy, Patrick, Robert, Gary and Dennis; and grandchildren, Lavonte, Davarion and Shaniyla Richeson and Marisa, Stephanie, Mylia, Jakaila, Paisley and Jonas Newsome.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Bucktrout Funeral Home with services beginning at noon. Burial will follow services in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
