HAMPTON — Miss Charmin Y. Scott, 50, mother of Ryan Scott, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020. She was born May 16, 1970.
She graduated from Phoebus High School in 1989. She loved cooking, dancing and decorating. She also enjoyed watching old movies and had a special love for children and music. Charmin will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey P. Scott; paternal grandparents, Wilbert Scott Sr. and Ruth Scott; maternal grandparents, James and Vernie Galloway; and aunt, Barbara Scott.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Ryan D. Scott; daughter, Toni W. Westry; mother, Vernette (Michael); father, Wilbert (Emma) Scott; aunts, M. Susan Young, Denise Britt (Lawrence) and Catherine Scott; uncles, James Scott (Marie) and Jonathan Scott; and a host of cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 8, at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at noon, Friday, Oct. 9, at the funeral chapel. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
