Rosalie Davis Strawser, 65, passed away Monday, Aug. 24, 2020.
Born in Albany, New York, she was a lifelong resident of Hampton Roads, where she worked as a nurse’s aide.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, Elvaria and Ernest C. Davis Sr.; daughter, Mary E. Hawkins; brother, Ernest Davis Jr.; and granddaughter, Nanoko Hawkins.
Surviving are her life partner, Rob L. Stanton; daughter, Jennifer Williams; siblings, Marietta Toney, Sandra Hankammer, Lloyd Davis and Patricia Struchen; and grandchildren, Hanako Hawkins, Hiroshi Hawkins and Sadie Williams.
A service to celebrate Rosalie’s life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 5, at Sandy Bottom Nature Park, Parker Pavilion, 1255 Big Bethel Road, Hampton.
