VIRGINIA BEACH — Robert Anthony Butler, born Sept. 28, 1977, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Robert Butler.
Robert leaves behind his mother, Patricia Mary Butler; brother, Michael Butler; sister, Michele Seay; and his sweet furry boy, Max.
Robert truly lived life to the fullest. He loved traveling, cooking, fishing, kayaking, hanging out with friends, movies, music and so much more. He had a heart of gold and would give anyone the shirt off his back, even if it was his last.
While we are grateful for the 42 years we had with Robert, it breaks our hearts to know that we will not see him again in this life. His smile, laugh and presence will be missed.
Viewing will be held for family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 4, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts, 2002 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 5, at Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery, 2020 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach.
