Mrs. Bessie E. Lee, a member of Miracle Temple Baptist Church, passed Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
She leaves to cherish her memory five sons, Lin Hopson (Melvene), Harold Lee (Dorothy) Jr., Michael Lee, Derrick Lee and Marty Lee (Alfreda); two daughters, Shelia Smallwood and Poneice Lee; and 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, June 9, at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., June 10, at Miracle Temple Baptist Church, 617 32nd St., Newport News. Entombment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
