Evelyn L. Surdell, 89, passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, David Surdell; parents, Jacob and Ella Bachman; brother, Jacob Eugene; sister-in-law, Carolyn Bachman; and her beloved miniature poodle, Mitzi.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother, George (Barb) Bachman; sisters, Joyce (Carl) Sellers and Terry Sue Tanner; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She loved watching college football and was always seen with her sweet dog, Mitzi. They could be spotted together in taxis, in the grocery store, at the beauty parlor and practically everywhere else.
A private service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 26, in Virginia Beach. A memorial service for Evelyn will be held in Ohio at a later date.
