Sandra Jean Washington, 78, wife of the late Clifton Washington and mother of Larry and Cassandra Washington, departed this life Monday, Nov. 4, 2019.
She was a pillar in the Carver Gardens community. She retired from the Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools after 42 years of service as a bus driver.
Mrs. Washington may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 8, at Whiting’s Funeral Home.A homegoing celebration will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, at the funeral home chapel.
