Matthew Eugene Neil, 45, of Hampton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019. Matthew was born May 19, 1974, in Summersville, West Virginia.
A loving husband and father, he adored spending time with his two daughters. He loved music and had a passion for guitar. Through the entirety of his life, he was a devoted follower of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy Neil; daughters, Summer Neil and Cassidy Neil; brothers, Steve Wilson and Tony Wilson; mother, Sandra Wilson; aunt, Wilma (Kevin) Thomas; uncles, Jeff Neff, Tom Neff, Tim Neff, Larry Neff and Bobby Mundy; and many lifelong friends.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Nov. 5, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, Hampton. A service will follow at noon.
