Robin Marshall Burrell, 59, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019.
Robin was born on Nov. 2, 1959, in Newport News and was a lifelong resident.
She enjoyed playing bingo and games on her tablet, along with the games on Facebook. She was a collector of all sorts of knick- knacks, and she loved her animals very much. In the past, Robin was an avid beach goer. She also made a lot of pottery as well.
She was preceded in rest by her parents, Roland and Margaret Marshall; husband, George Taylor; daughter, Georgina Taylor; and sister, Daisy Bartles.
Her love for her only grandson Gavin knew no bounds as she would do anything and everything she could for him.
Robin is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Burrell; son, Richard Taylor; grandson, Gavin Taylor; four sisters; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A service will be held to celebrate Robin’s life at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 4, at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
The family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
