In 1997, she moved to Virginia Beach following the death of her parents, William “Bill” Nippert and Elizabeth “Liz” Courson. Erin graduated from Frank W. Cox High school in 2007 and later attended Tidewater Community College.
Erin is survived by her son, Clayton Howard Oswald; grandmother, Sarah R. Courson; aunt, Virginia Johnson; three siblings, Casey Nippert and Adaline and Henry Johnson; and niece and three nephews, Levi, Skyler, Rolan and Ashton.
Erin was a kind-hearted, beautiful mother who loved to make others happy. She loved animals and saw the good in all things.
