In God’s own way and for His ultimate purpose, He called home our beloved La’Toya Monique Williams-Taylor, 35, for eternal rest Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, at Sentara CarePlex Hospital, Hampton.
Her life’s journey began March 24, 1983, the daughter of Luther and Ruby Williams, of Pensacola, Florida.
She was a loving and caring person who put other people’s needs before her own. She cared for people as a certified nursing assistant.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories with her husband, Dewayne Taylor Sr.; children, Na’John Williams, Cu’Nya Taylor, Dewayne Taylor Jr. and Keeyana Ford; parents, Ruby and Luther Williams; siblings, Larry France and Alicia Williams; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 1, at Whiting’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Mrs. Williams-Taylor may be viewed from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to services.
