Harvey Gerald “Gerry” Shields, 80, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Loraine Amory Shields, and is survived by his sisters, Joyce Adams and Jeanette Moldovan; and life partner, Roland Labadon.
Gerald traveled the world extensively, taught and directed numerous schools both here and abroad. He truly loved the world of education. At the time of his death he was the owner of Saravilla Bed and Breakfast in Alma, Michigan, but Gerald was always up for a new adventure!
He will be missed by his family and many friends, both here and abroad. A graveside service was held Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Seaford. Arrangements were handled by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton.
