Robert “Bobby” Riese, 77, of Williamsburg, formerly of Bellmore, New York, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Edwin Riese; daughter, Deborah Riese; and brother, Gary Riese.
Bobby proudly served his country as a U.S. Army paratrooper. Following his military service, he spent his career in emergency electric gas services working for Lilco “National Grid.” He was an avid fisherman and loved cooking for everyone.
He is survived by his wife, Linda M. Riese; son, Robert J. Riese Jr., and his wife, Loren; and sister, Donna Keane.
A visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 10, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg.
