
Robert Sigler ‘Rob’ Hall, of Virginia Beach, passed away Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018. He was the beloved son of Susan and Herman Hall.
Rob attended Norfolk Academy, obtained a B.A. from Virginia Wesleyan and a master’s degree from Regent University. He loved to read, quote the Constitution and kept a pocket Constitution on his night stand. Rob was a talented musician. He wrote, produced, recorded, sang and played all instruments in several CDs. He toured with several bands up and down the East Coast.
Rob had a very tender heart towards all living creatures and became a strict vegan four years ago. He was a wonderful chef and enjoyed cooking for his family. He loved going to the family cottage at the Outer Banks. Rob was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach.
Rob is survived by his parents; brother, Herman Hall IV, and his wife, Heather; the apples of his eye-nephew, Herman V, and niece, Nellie; aunts, Cheryll Tuthill, and her husband, Jim, Diane McWherter, and her husband, Larry; uncles, Curtis, and his wife, Mary, Stephen, and his wife, Kim, Robert Chamberlin and Tracy; cousins, Allison, Amy, and her husband, Michael, Alex, Chris, and his wife, Gibby, Stephanie, and her husband, Scott, and Katie, and her fiancé, Cam.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 3, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 4, at First Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Endowment Fund or a charity close to your heart.
