Maria Elisabeth Gebert, 80, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018, in Virginia Beach. She was born in Moenchengladbach, Germany, to the late Wilhelm and Johanna Alf.
She was employed as an administrative secretary for SUNY at Binghamton for the Foreign Exchange Program and for Doron Precision Systems in Binghamton, New York, after which, she became a real estate agent for Fiori Realty.
Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Frank.
She is survived by her son, Stephen, and his wife, Charlotte; daughter, Eva Gebert-Riess, and her husband, Thomas; son, Gregory, and his significant other, Cathy Dancy; six grandchildren, Stephen, Justin, Jessica, Tobias, Karina and Sophia; and great-grandchild, Andy.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, May 11, at Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach.
