Peggy Reich Stein, 70, of Virginia Beach, Va., passed away Friday, March 30, 2018. Born in Bridgeport, Conn., she was the daughter of the late George F. and Jane A. Reich.
Peggy was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Reich.
Left to cherish her memory are her longtime companion, Tommy Beatley III; sister, Nancy J. Evans; three brothers, George Reich (Vera), Bill Reich and Chuck Reich (Margo); many nieces and nephews; as well as her beloved border collies, Finn, Kaz and Tweed.
Peggy was an AKC Certified K9 dog trainer. She was an accomplished showman, herder and trainer of border collies and won numerous awards locally and statewide.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m.,Thursday, April 5, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. A funeral service will follow visitation at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Blue Ridge Border Collie Rescue.
