Shirley M. Harvey, 77, passed away Friday, Feb. 9, 2018. Mrs. Harvey was a native of England and former resident of Oxon Hill, Md., before settling on the Peninsula in 1997. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was an extraordinary cook and baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Marvin K. Harvey Sr., and is survived by her sons, Marvin K. Harvey Jr., and his wife, Robin, of Yorktown and Michael A. Harvey, and his wife, Elizabeth, of Maryland; two sisters, Mary and Ann; two brothers, Tony and David; grandchildren, Aaron and Christina; five great-grandchildren, Alex, Christian, Sam, Logan and Lilly; and a dear friend, Ann Inscoe.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 17, at Amory Funeral Home Chapel.
