Thomas Adam “Tom” Wallace, 96, of Virginia Beach, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at his home surrounded by family.

Born in New York, N.Y., Tom served his country as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was an avid bowler and racquetball player. He loved sports, fishing, crabbing and gardening.

Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Martha Consalvo and Judith Tunick (Maurice); grandchildren, Lareina Consalvo and Adam Tunick; two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Andrew Holloway; and sisters, Lorraine and Diane.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyn Wallace; and his granddaughter, Sarah Rose.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 15, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel,1457 Independence Blvd., Virginia Beach. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 16, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, with a reception following at Heritage UMC, 815 Baker Road, Virginia Beach.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heritage UMC.
