Charles Russell “Chuck” Dail, 60, passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at a local hospital.
Chuck was born in Virginia, the son of the late Kenneth and Gladys Dail. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Mark and Thomas Dail. Chuck worked as a welder by trade for many years and was most recently employed at the Great Neck Citgo in Virginia Beach. He loved his music and was a fan of the Beatles. He was also a fan of the San Francisco 49ers.
Chuck is survived by his fiancé, Deborah Nonni; three brothers, Mike, Scott and David Dail; sister, Lisa Dail; beloved Cockatiel, Geri; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. The family would like to thank the staff at DaVita on Camelot Drive, his nephrologist, Dr. Agha, and the staff at Tidewater Kidney Specialist. We would also like to thank the nurses, physicians and staff at Virginia Beach General Hospital for all the care and support provided.
The family will receive friends at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. Burial will be private.
