Frances Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Chancey, 90, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016. Liz was born in Princess Anne County to the late Ruby Elizabeth Mosley. She worked as a beautician, enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid crocheter.
Liz was preceded in death by her husband, William Marvin Sr.; children, William ‘Bill’ Marvin Jr. and Pamela Elizabeth Sharkey; and grandchild, Charles Michael James-Proffit.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, J. Dwight Chancey of Chesapeake; granddaughter, Elizabeth Summer Proffit of Virginia Beach; son-in-law, Fred Sharkey; and great-grandchildren, Eva Marie, Seth, Skyler and Lael.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Maestas Chapel.
