Kari Sue Robertson Dorrian, 49, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 3, 2016, after a brave, but short, battle with cancer. Kari was born to James and Myra Robertson in Washington, Pa., and grew up in Fairmont, W.Va.

She was the devoted wife of Kevin Dorrian and loving mother of three sons, Daniel, James and Declan. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Kim Robertson; and her brother, Scott Robertson, and his wife, May, and their children Ericka and Connor.

Kari was valedictorian of her class at Fairmont Senior High School, received her B.A. from Drew University and M.Ed. from Old Dominion University. Kari loved to read, garden, travel and was an avid genealogist. Nothing could tear her away from the T.V. if the Steelers were playing. Kari also enjoyed playing video games and following the Pittsburgh Penguins.

A funeral service will be held at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Road Chapel, on Monday, March 7, with visitation at 1:30 p.m. and service beginning at 2 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at the Hilton Oceanfront immediately following. Interment in the Washington Cemetery in Washington, Pa., will take place on Thursday, March 10.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation.
