Mary Del Santo Iannone, 99, formerly of Auburn, N.Y., and Virginia Beach, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 4, 2016, at Heritage Point in Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born in Auburn, N.Y., on August 17, 1916, the daughter of Pasquale and Angelina Del Santo. Mrs. Iannone was preceded in death by her husband, Emilio Iannone.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Ronald Iannone, and wife, Mary, of Morgantown, W.Va.; and her daughter, Lisa I. Fentress of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Mary Beth Sickles, and husband, Carl, and their children, Justin Iannone, and his wife, Erin, and Megan Iannone; grandsons, Patrick Iannone and Jeffrey Iannone, and wife, Anita, and their children, Sonny and Joey, and Adam Fentress, and wife, Stephanie; and her great-great-grandson, Mason Iannone, son of Justin and Erin Iannone.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Wednesday, March 9, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home with burial to follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to The Village at Heritage Point in Morgantown, W.Va.
