Richard “Dickie” Aaron Yeatts III, 17, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016.
Richard was a native of Yorktown and was lifelong Peninsula resident. Dickie was a student at York High School and attended Waters Edge Church. Dickie had a big heart, loved his family and friends and now is in heaven with his best friend, Shorty.
He is survived by his parents, Mandi Hurst-Yeatts and Richard A. Yeatts Jr.; three sisters, Alexus Hurst-Yeatts, Avrie Yeatts and Emily McCallum; grandparents, Robin Ann Randall (JR) and Charles A. Hurst; Richard A. Yeatts Sr. (Mary) and Mitzi G. Hale; special uncle and aunt, Chris and Melanie Tanner; aunt, Tonya M. Yeatts; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016, in the Amory Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family requests casual dress. Memorials may be made to a GoFundMe page set up to pay for funeral expenses.
