Jeffery Dean Sipe, 53, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, December 28, 2015, after a long battle with Wilson’s Disease. Born in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of the late Arthur Preston Sipe and Dora Mae Gillispie Sipe of Charlottesville, VA.
Jeff was a loving husband, wonderful father, and doting grandfather.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Leslie Ellen Schneider Sipe; his children, Bradley Philip Sipe, Judith M. Feliciano and Meagan D. Danna; his sons-in-law, Jeremy L. Feliciano and Daniel E. Hanna; his beautiful granddaughters, Isabelle Grace and Kaelyn Elizabeth Hanna; his sister, Brenda K. Edmondson; his brothers, Arthur G. Sipe and Clifton D. Sipe; 12 nieces and nephews. He had a special fondness for his nephew, Joseph M. Sipe who was a great help and companion to him at the end of his life.
Jeff was a long-time member of Community United Methodist Church. He loved praying and working with his wife, attending his men’s Bible study, coaching his son’s sports teams, attending his daughter’s dance recitals, and taking his granddaughters to Costco and the movies.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Community United Methodist Church, 1072 Old Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach. Flowers are welcome as are donations to Community United Methodist Church. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
