Jean Scott, of Williamsburg, died Oct. 29, 2015, at Morningside of Williamsburg. She was 85.
She retired from James City County in 1994. Her passion was her yard work, a mixture of flowers from her mom’s yard and garden centers.
She is survived by her children, Sandy Sammons Cheatham (Frank), Wayne Scott (Debbie) and Ed Scott; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
