Frances W. Alton, of Virginia Beach, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at the age of 91.
She was born in Norfolk, daughter of the late John B. and Lillie Mae Wolf. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Tiller.
Frances was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and a past president of Kempsville Women’s Club.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Roger “Bob” Alton; daughter, Carol Reavis and husband Bert; grandchildren, Erin Reavis and Amy Giulioni and husband Brandon; great-grandchildren, Phillip Reavis and Grace Giulioni; along with extended family and friends.
The family extends a special thank-you to the staff of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, with a prayer service starting at 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
