James M. O’Leary Jr., of Virginia Beach, a loving and devoted husband and father, died unexpectedly on Oct. 19, 2015, at the age of 53.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 26 years, Karla O’Leary; sons, Justin, Patrick and Sean; daughter, Michaela; mother, Mary B. O’Leary; brothers, Hugh and Mark Sherwood; sister, Debbie Sherwood; and animals, Whiskers and LucyLou.
Born in Norfolk, he was preceded in death by his father, James M. O’Leary Sr.
He was currently employed with AH Environmental Consultants as an environmental engineer. Most of all he will be remembered for his love of family and generous nature.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Princess Anne Memorial Park
