John Lee Hundley, of Williamsburg, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, at Riverside Doctors’ Hospital. He was 79.
His life’s journey began on Sept. 7, 1935, son of the late Mary E. and Joshua J. Hundley.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his son, John B. Hundley (Melody); two granddaughters; one great-grandson; two sisters; one brother; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Mr. Hundley may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at Whiting’s Funeral Home, 7005 Pocahontas Trail, Williamsburg A funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Family and friends will assemble one hour prior to the service at 520 Roycroft St.
