Adrian Alexander Stepp, 95, former Atomic Energy Commission employee

Adrian Alexander Stepp, husband of the late Alice Elizabeth Farinholt Stepp for over 70 years, died Dec. 27, 2014, at the age of 95.

He was born in Baden, North Carolina and lived in Williamsburg with his family for the last 57 years, working at Camp Peary, Virginia Highway Department, Atomic Energy Commission and Don Leftwich Realtor. Adrian served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. His pastime, passion and his life was his family and his faith in the Lord.

He is survived by his three children, Ellen Stepp Harper, Adrian Stepp Jr. and Barry Stepp; his son-in law, Dennis Harper; daughter-in-law, Diane Stepp; grandchildren, Madison Stepp, Erin Stepp, Amy Hudgins and Leslie Saunderlin; great-granddaughter, Ali Hudgins; a brother, Woody Stepp; a special friend, Becky Howard Briggs; brother-in-law, Pitts Farinholt; nieces, Trisha Farinholt and Betty Faris and her husband, Jimmy Faris; nephews, Tony Macrini III and Nick Macrini; niece Gerry Bowles; and her sons, Harry, Hal and Jason; former daughter-in-law, Pam Roche; cousin, Mildred Scarborough and her husband, Bob; his nephew, Bert Ellis Hargrave; “children,” Meg and Chris Bruno; niece, Gail Galli and her husband, Michael and their children, Zachary, Abigail, Joshua and Kaye Faris and her children, Ryan and Christian; and a special thank-you to his caregivers Cindy Stout, Gary Danovich and Theresa Mintz.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014, at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 20051 Tabernacle Road, Barhamsville, VA 23011. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
