Robert “Bob” Moore, 88, WWII Merchant Marine

Robert “Bob” Moore, age 88, of Williamsburg, formerly of Ocean View, Delaware, passed away on October 30, 2014.

He was a parishioner of St. Olaf Catholic Church and served as a Merchant Marine during WWII.

Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years, Louise; his children, Cindy Zangardi (Carl), Greg Moore, Gerry Moore (Gail), Chris Moore (Laura), Ann Dramstad and Amy Moore; seven grandchildren, Christian Moore (Janette), Lauren Haynes (Chris), Vince Zangardi, Kim Heyne (Christian), Emma Moore, Madison Dramstad and Brent Dramstad; great-grandchildren, Tanner and Riley Moore, Tony and Layla Haynes; sisters, Christine Courtright and Marian Sanazaro; a special sister-in-law, Mildred Schulz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 3, at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 104 Norge Ln., Williamsburg, VA 23188. Interment will be private.
