Boyd Bryant Britt, of West Point, died Aug. 13, 2014, at the age of 86.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge #248 AF & AM, the Tidewater Shriners Club and the Gloucester Moose Lodge #886.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Britt. He is survived by his children, John and Jerry Britt, Carolyn Fleischer and Julia Castillo and their mother, Thelma. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Cathy Greggs (Kevin), Bryant Britt, MacKenzie Britt, Angela Blake (Wayne), Sarah Britt, Danny Crumpler, Chris Davis (Andrea), Mindy Britt and Bruce “Bubbie” Britt; his great-grandchildren, Caleb, Kamryn, Kristin, Melia, Chase, Chevy and Mitchell; and very special friend, Donna Fletcher.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Vincent Funeral Home with a masonic service beginning at 7 p.m. and a memorial service immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
