Harry J. Susla, of Chatham, Mass., Pawley’s Island, S.C. and formerly of Weston, Conn., died Feb. 21, 2014, at the home of his daughter in Williamsburg after a courageous battle with leukemia.
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and graduate of Michigan State University. He retired as vice president of sales for the Latchford Glass Corp. and Vitro Packaging. An avid golfer, he served on the Board of Directors and is a past president of the Redding Country Club where he was a member for over 40 years.
The son of Michael and Mary Susla, he was born in Torrington, Conn. and is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; children, Scott, David and Stacy; and grandchildren, Lindsay, Ryan, Jack and Trevor.
A private memorial service is planned.
