Horace M. Wynn, a proud U.S. Army veteran and member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, died on Monday, Oct. 14, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alton Wynn.
Mr. Wynn is survived by his sons, Ozell Graham, Anthony Graham and Travis Haskett; mother, Sarah Helen Wynn; sister, Joyce “Juicy” Wynn; brothers, Raymond Wynn and Roger Wynn; four grandchildren; and other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald A. Ellis officiating. Family and friends to assemble at the church by 11:45 a.m. on Friday. Mr. Wynn may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Whiting’s Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
